A Career Switch Into Tech

The challenge

Neha came from a non-computer-science background and decided to switch careers into software development. She learned Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and SQL through online courses but lacked confidence when facing technical interviews.

How they prepared

Her biggest challenge was not learning another framework—it was explaining her existing knowledge clearly.

With 99interview, Neha practiced technical questions based on her skill level and repeatedly simulated real interview conversations.

Over time, she stopped trying to sound like an experienced developer and focused on demonstrating what she genuinely understood.

The result

Neha successfully transitioned into her first Backend Developer role.
