Live mock interview with an engineer
A live round is forty minutes over Zoom with an engineer who does the job. You tell them the role you are interviewing for and the technologies you use when you book, they read it beforehand, and the round is pitched at exactly that. Afterwards you get a score on five criteria and written feedback on what to fix.
From setup to your score
Four steps, in order. Nothing to install.
Pick a time
Choose a slot that suits you; the booking offers whichever vetted interviewer is free then.
Tell them the target
Enter the role and the technologies, and attach your resume if you like. The interviewer reads it before the session.
Forty minutes on Zoom
Questions, follow-ups and the conversation about your own work, as in a real technical round.
Scores and written feedback
Scored on technical depth, problem solving, communication, behavioural and code quality, with a written note on what went well and what to fix.
Built to show you what to fix
A real interviewer
Engineers who interview as part of their job, vetted before they take sessions.
Pitched at your role
The round matches the role, stack and experience you enter, not a generic script.
Written feedback
Specific notes you can act on, alongside the per-criterion score.
Comparable scores
The same five criteria as a round with Sia, so both show up on one profile.
When it helps most
The last rehearsal before an interview you care about.
Hearing how a real engineer reads your answers and your projects.
Getting used to the conversation, not just the questions.
What candidates ask first
How long is a live interview?
Forty minutes, over Zoom.
Who are the interviewers?
Working engineers, vetted before they can take sessions.
Can the round match a specific role or stack?
Yes. When you book, you enter the role you are interviewing for and the technologies you use, and the engineer reads them before the session.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You can cancel a booked session. The refund depends on how much notice you give, and is shown before you confirm.
